Chaos in Java
From time to time I toy around with Java a little bit. Some of my
humble tries are given here:
-
Monster crumbs, quite an interesting cellular automat.
-
Plotting values of the
Henon equations, several parameters may be changed interactively.
-
Simulating a
random walk (Brown's movement) and determining the fractal
dimension of the resulting structures.
-
Drawing a
Sierpinski triangle using the 'game of chaos'.
-
The
Feigenbaum diagram of the logistic equation.
-
The
Standard map (periodically initiated pendulum)
These applets work best with the Internet Explorer. Using Netscape
sometimes yields strange problems like a non-working stop button.
I haven't figured this out yet.
